Funny question...
I was at the track yesterday and for one of te runs i decided to try removing the air filters since the were old an i need new ones. When I removed the air filters and the car was idleing the temp went up to 220, and once i started going down the track right back down. Now every run before that and after that (when I put the filters back in) it didn't even touch the first line on the gauge which is where the car usually stays at. This sound normal to anyone that it would run that much hotter with the air filters removed? Car is a 1986 305 TPI Thanks
