383 with a T56.....impossible????

OK...I realize "nothing is impossible," but the T56 requires it's own nasty lookin flywheel (I currently have a T56 in my IROC). I don't think that the 400 crank will bolt to this flywheel because it requires it's own funky flywheel....hmmmmmmm...dilemma. How in the hell does one make this work?

I don't know this for certain, but I am told that Centerforce makes the appropriate unit. I will be needing the exact same combination someday at the rate my T-5 is going.

Hey IROCracer, you are right on the money with the approximation of what the CENTERFORCE flywheel cost. I installed on in a friends 87 ASTRO-VAN with a 2-piece RMS 350 with a 96 T-56. This one was $299, but it is a nice piece, and you will like it. They probably want more for the 383/400 SBC version. DEFINITELY don't get their $530 LT-1 CLUTCH though. HTH's

The prices are real close for the two peice and the 400 Centerforce flywheels. Last time I looked they were within $20 of each other.
