e-brake cable

i pulled on my e brake the other day and somehow managed to snap the cable about 2.5 inches before that connector that goes into the 2 cables that go to the drums. where can i get this cable from? also i highly doubt this, but is there a way to do this without removing the entire center console? thanks.

You can get the cable from nearly any parts store; I *think* the front cable is the same for all.
You should be able to do it with only the top of the console out, and the handle unbolted from the floor. Actually, you'll need to unbolt the handle to get the console top off and back on.
