drivin home in the horrible snow storm we got here in chicago, tring to get up a hill i had to have it in 4th gear higher rpms. Then i get to close to my house and the thing starts overheating, get home and there is a smell comin from the rear ( could just be the tires) but im thinkin rear end. The engine sounds wierd, the car is shaking, and the stick is shakin wildly, oil pressure goin from 25 to 35 goin up and down. i think i really messed it up. maybe cause of all the spinning. tell me if i really did cause in my opinion i may be gettin a 350 sooner than i think.

hey man dont worry i got stuck 3 times in that snowstorm, and all were within my own driveway...
one way to tell if it isnt the engine is just let it idle in park or neutral. If its still making noise, then its probly the engine or possibly the tranny. If it doesnt make it, then it may be the rearend or again possibly the tranny.
