Setting base timing, what wires to disconnect??
I know you have to disconnect the computer to set the base timing on the motor but I don't know where those wires are or what they look like. Can you describe where I should look or even provide pictures? I just need to disconnect these wires, fire up the car, and set the timing right, or am I missing anything? Thanks.

Over by the blower motor (passenger side, near the cowl), there is a bunch of wires that go through there (up near the corner). One of them has just a simple, in-line weatherpack connection. This is the EST wire, and is what you disconnect. It disables computer timing advance. I think the wire is black or brown, I can't remember really - but it should be pretty clear if you look in the right area.
If you're not sure - then look in that area for what looks like what I'm talking about. Start the engine and disconnect the wire - if the timing mark changes dramatically and the engine obviously runs differently immediately, you've found the right wire. This is not good advice in general, I know, but there isn't really anything else in that area you could disconnect and screw something up. DO NOT just start disconnecting whatever you can find in hopes of finding the right thing. Look up in the passenger cowl corner and see if you can find it.

Damn, Vader! lol that's exactly what it looks like. I went through my lecture because I didn't have the damn picture. That should remove the margin for error
