Mini starters... no name brands?
There are plenty of mini starters on ebay for $80-$110, new. I was wondering what could be bad with these, as $200 for one from Jegs seems a little pricey. The ones I'm looking at have the following specs:
153 or 168 tooth flywheels
10 lbs
2.0 horsepower
3.7:1 gear ratio/4.1:1 on some

I think the Summit brand mini goes for about $140. That's not bad, cause you know where you're gett'n it from and you know it's brand new. That's my $.02
