i have a 91 z28 convetible 305 tpi auto and i just ripped off the cat and replaced a straight pipe which sounds alot better :rockon: what else can i rip off? and does any1 know what size plugs replace the a.i.r tubea in the manifold thanks

 

well, if yournot going for emissions (I assume not, your in Louisiana), then yoink out the air pump and tubes, you'll get alot of extra space under there :-)

what part of Louisiana you in? I wasn born and raised in Leesville, by the Ft. Polk military base. I'm in Phoenix Arizona for college though.

The top?

The tubing is 1/4", so go to a REAL hardware store (not Save big money) and buy flare plugs for 1/4" tubing.

They're flare fittings. Flare fittings are an odd animal. They don't have a normal NPT thread pitch. They have their own.
