Hesitating Bad

when my car is cold it hesitates a lot, when I press the gas about 1/4 way down the rpm go down then come back up....does anybody know what's causing this, also when I floor it, the rpm go all the way down to 0 then back up, like it dies and comes back, this happens all the time.

maybe your electronic choke isn't engaging... i dont know about edelbrocks though...

I would get a guage and check out your fuel pressure, maybe your fuel pump is going bad... my bosses car did that, changed the fuel filter, it helped, changed the fuel pump, it runs like a champ...

It could be the fuel pump...or could it be the secondaries not opening? Just a idea from a semi-newb.
