Porting TFS
Porting TFS
Hi,is there anyone that has ported the TFS
G1 heads?
I´ve ported the intake and exhaust ports
matching them to a fel pro 1205 ( intake),
and to the headers( exhaust). And now I`m
pocket porting them, but the bowls are pretty
good already, the only thing I found to do a
major porting is the cast-in ridge in the intake. Then I will polish the exahust and the chanber.
What do you think?
Thanks.
Ben

Sounds like you have solid plan. IM in the process of porting mine also. I have the 23* Trick flows,IM just blending the valve seat into the bowl. I dont have the patience to do anymore. I thought I was going to crap my pants when I was drilling the steam holes. Its pretty tight between the chambers. I didnt hit a water jacket so all went well.
I should be getting my chip from ED wright soon. I hope to have my new motor in sometime in January. Good luck with the heads!

Yes I think it is a good plan. The only thing
I`m not so sure about is how much you should
blend the valve seat into the bowl, this heads seem to be pretty good there.
Any one who knows this?
Thanks.
