What kind of brake pads you use?

I know brake pads will produce brake dust on your wheels, but the ones I have are terrible. I'll drive for three days after I clean my rims and they're black again. I don't know the brand I bought but they're from Auto Zone. Do you have this much dust problem? What kind do you use? or reccomend?

Cliff,

Carbon-metallics, semi-metallics, and organic pads will dust off pretty rapidly. Ceramics are supposed to dust less, but I don't have any mileage on the one car I have ceramics loaded in. to me, brake dust is like taxes. It's the price we all have to pay to play.

I do know that the carbo-mets stop notably better than the organics or semi-metallics, and the prices are similar. Ceramic are pricey, and need a little heat before they get really effective. Once they get warm, nothing beats them.
