Removal of TES headers, need HELP!
I made the honest mistake of not JET coating my Edelbrock TES headers before I installed them. Now... I want to JET coat them after they are already installed to my edlebrock 6085 aluminum heads. My question is.... Can I remove them while the rest of the engine is still intact? Has anyone done it without screwuing everything else up. I am removing the valve covers to put new chrome ones on, so they will be out of the way, but can it be done????

Yes
Removal of bolts from aluminum heads should be done slowly and carefully. Some Liquid Wrench or WD-40 a day or so before on the bolts is good insurance.
Oh the dipstick will have to be unbolted and removed. Remove the spark plugs and fan sensor(if equipped) to prevent breakage. Note on some cars the A/C compressor and steering rag joint need removal or movement. Good Luck
