What wires are used in the park/nuetral safty switch?

Ok, until I have money to buy a new nuetral safty start switch, what wires can I connect under the shift consul in my 89 IROC that will let me start my car, even if it is in drive...?

I don't know why you would wish to do this, just put it in park before you start it.
But, there are a bunch of wires going to the shifter. 2 of them are noticably thicker than the others, those are the 2 you need to cross.

This is for an automatic I assume? On my 84 it's the two heavy wires at the top of the switch, a yellow one and a purple one I think.
