Engine: 3.1 V6
Transmission: 5 Spd. Manual
o2 sensor

OK before someone tells me to use the search button, I tried and cant seem to come up with the answer I need.

I need to change the 02 sensor , where is it located on a 92 bird V6?
is there a tech guide or like step by step guide to this work?

anyone have anything to add or to help me out would be great

look at the exhust manifold. when you see something that looks like a spark plug with a wire attached, use a deep socket and unscrew it. put the new sensor in its place. if you need a step by step, do yourself a favor and take the car to a mechanic.

ha, well at least knowing where its at should be half the problem.

Ive heard the sensor itself is kinda delicate, any truth to that?

"Delicate" is a relative term. You don't want to drop the sensor, and need to keep any kind of contamination from the cap over the sensing element.
