I have an engine from a 1983 Z28, it is a 305 and had a CrossFire Injection on it with an automatic transmission. What are the specs on this motor, cam,heads, etc. I would appreciate any help. I am putting it into an IROC for a daily driver and am putting a Tuned Port injection on the motor, horsepower is not a big priority with this car, but a little would be nice. Thanks..

1985 California Edition IROC red, polished TPI and polished wheels, otherwise completely stock 305ci. 700r4

1991 fullsize Blazer 4-wheel drive, 350,700r4, Pro Comp lift, K&N, TBI spacer, 3" Catco cat, 3" cat back Flowmaster, etc....

 

According to my Chilton's manual, it was rated at 165HP@4200 RPM, 240 Ft Lbs@2400 RPM, and 9.5:1 compression ratio. I couldn't find any specs on the cam, but if you're going to be putting a TPI system on it, I'd highly recommend changing your cam to either a stock or aftermarket one for a 305 TPI.
