Heater took a Dump

About 2 weeks ago my heater started acting funny. I would turn it on "high" but after about 5-10 seconds its would slowly decrease to almost nothing. Now for the past couple of days it dosnt work at all untill Im 15 minutes down the road and I can feel just a little bit of hot air coming from the vents. None of this would matter but it just so happens to be winter time here in Baltimore and I have to be at work at 5 am. I resorted to using my girlfriends Neon
to drive to work today. PLEASE HELP ME. Also I was planning on trying to switch out the Heater Blower Motor but theres a sticker on the top of the housing which says Precaution, something about do not mess with on your own must see dealer or mechanic to fix. Will I get hurt if I change it myself. Thanks for the help in advance.

things i would check, put the full 12 volts from the battery to the motor connection to see if it goes full speed / works.

if u cant get the motor to work at all with direct battery voltage, its just a few bolts holding in the blower motor so i dont see why that stickers is even there, its nothing unsafe about just pulling out the blower motor.

hows the slower speeds working?

having the fan working fine but having no heat is another thing
