finally had a semi-warm day yesterday and got to drive with the window down.. almost instantly i was able to smell oil vapor, not oil burning, but the vapor smell you get if say you forgot to put the filler plug in.. checkled everything out, couldnt find anything wrong, she doesnt burn/leak oil at all either.. any ideas where this could be comin from?

thats the first thing i checked.. all looks good, no loose lines, valve working properly, etc.. im stumped...

 

Could be blowby pressure forcing crankcase vapor out the valve cover gaskets. It's happenning on my 88 GTA.

 

oh god.. dont even say that.. then again, i guess 133k on the clock of a 2.8 is a quite a bit.. and considering that it is worse under load.. <sigh>
