Try www.kbb.com and www.edmonds.com for an idea...then cruise the classified section (this site) and see what they're selling for.

fortunatly these cars have an 'anti-bluebook' value. Us enthusiasts make up our own prices for these cars. You can expect to get a little more than BB if it's in decent shape. These cars, especially GTAs,IROCs,Trans Ams,ect.. hold thier value as good as a Honda..it's hard to find one that isn't ragged out and everyone knows they are problem cars. Ofcourse it's all relative, do you want to keep it...or sell it?

keep in mind miles are miles...and it has a few more points of wear and tear than most people are aware of.

a rebuilt carb is a plus, but water pump and hoses...that stuff is just normal, it should never be mentioned in an ad.

write your ad like: '86 camaro,V8, good paint, matching tires, well maintained...ect.. keep it short and sweet. No one cares if you spent hundreds in brake work, the car SHOULD have brakes, Just be fortunate that I'm not looking at your car. Again, ask for over BB only if it merits such value. No serious problems, missing parts, some good aftermarket parts...it's worth something to somebody, but not nearly what you put into it.

I couldn't tell you without seeing the car, but you would be doing ok if you got $1500 for it.
