egr solenoid?
I have a question. I just replaced all my injectors and while doing so decided to replace all the top end gaskets. My question is this. during disassembly there is what I believe to be a egr solenoid just under my coil. Two vac. lines and One weird nipple that has a funny clip. What goes on this particular nipple? I know that one vac line runs to the egr and the other goes to the throttle body. This is my only hiccup to finishing this project. Thanks for you help.
Since that port on the solenoid valve is used as an atmospheric vent, it used to have a small cube of foam on it as a filter, of sorts. At least your's still has the clip. Most often the clips fall off with the "filter" foam. It shouldn't be a problem.
