maybe my second 91z28, but now its a 383
ok this past summer i bought my first camaro, a 1991 z28 with the L98, loaded and flawless w/ 66k, white w/ grey leather. the night i decide to park it in the street after 2 months of parking it in the driveway a guy steals a truck, hits my camaro; totals it, and drives off and gets away with it all, cops never caught him
so i buy a 1996 z28 a week or so later, now its in storage. the same place where i buy my 96 just so happens to have a 91z28 white w/ grey leather, identical to my old 91, but its got a 383 stroker, with a built tranny, and rear end work. 72k on it, and 4k on the drivetrain. also dyno'ed at 417 at the wheels, now if i buy this 91 will i be able to drive it daily??? and how long will the engine last??? ive heard 30k up to 100k??? also friends have told me that i shouldnt drive it as much because of the high horses, and ive heard from others that 417 is alot but not as much as i think and it should be fine.....well can you guys hepl me out here, and maybe tell me some things i may need to know. thanks alot

I say buy it, other than the fact that is white, not my favorite color. Get some specifics on the motor/trans if you can. It would be nice to know if some toothless hick built it or a acual mechanic. That way you could awnser the question whether or not the motor will last more than 30K. I dont car how much HP/TQ a motor has, if its balanced, and assembled right there should be know reason that it wouldnt go over 100k. And yes you could drive it daily, although on rainy days I would keep off the go pedal. After I finish my 383 build up, I estimate over 500hp/tq, and as long as its not raining, I'll drive it all over the place.
