Cooling fan ECM connections

Does anyone know exactly where the relay coil is connected to the ECM actuators? Are there two separate ports for the primary and secondary cooling fans? The wiring diagram I have is not clear on this. It appears that one of the fans may not be controlled by the ECM at all. Also, I assume that the ground side of the fan relay coil goes to the ECM, since this seems to be the configuration of most ECM actuated appliances.

FTruck,

You are correct about the ECM completing the ground path for the fan relay (along with most other digital loads). The fan control is at pin 'C1' on the ECM connector. It should be the same dark green/white wire that is at the fan relay.
