305 to 350 swap, car pings badly after warmup under load

I swapped the 305 out for a 350 in my 88 iroc camaro. Im running the stock 19 lb injectors and just installed an adj fuel pressure regulator. When i start the car it runs fine, driving and everything WOT. The moment the car warms up to operating temp the car pings like hell when i jump on it. And it randomly throws a softcode check engine light for "extensive engine cranking" or "MAF sensor curcuit to high" Which i dont understand why it does either. Any ideas? when i turn the regulator up im not getting any more fuel pressure on the gauge.

WayQuick,

If you're still using the PROM from the 305, the ECM will try to trim fuel and control spark timing for the smaller engine. The MAF is reporting good numbers for a 350, but too high for a 305. Get a PROM for a 350 if you don't have one. The injectors MIGHT be O.K. with higher fuel pressure, but you would probably be better off eventually installing 22lb or 24 lb/hr injectors.

You also need to make sure you're running the 350 knock sensor. The 305 and 350 knock sensors are different part numbers. If you still have the 305 knock sensor on your 350, it could be sending your ESC the wrong readings, causing it to ping.
