Porting and polishing heads?

I am going to port and polish my own 083 heads off my L98 motor and i need some advice first. Which areas are the most restrictive and should i spend the most time on? What exactly needs to be done to these areas? Also what parts should i not spend time on? Lastly what are some tip or "tricks of the trade" i should know to get the best results. Im new to this but i am not completely nieve.
Thanks,
Dane
