Well the check valve went bad and I have to replace my pump. (pressure drops after key is turned off) I know there is much debate between dropping the tank and cutting a hole. I dont want to cut a hole. What I was thinking was putting in a carb pickup and using high pressure inline pump. My question is what year pickup will work with my 89' Also who makes a pump that will work inline? (Mounted near fuel filter) Any coments are welcome to.

 

don't bother cutting hole in the floor because your fuel lines run from the sender all the way to the edge of the tank and there is no way you'll get the sender out thru the hole, been down that road with my '91...also as far as i know nobody makes an inline pump to feed the 45-50 psi needed on your tpi, you will prob have to drop the tank wether you like it or not....hope this helps.
