Help please

I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. When I floor it, the fan is hitting the fan shroud. The motor mounts look fine. But I would think that would be the problem. The tranmission mount looks okay also. How would you tell if they were bad? May seem like a simple question, but I dont have alot of experience. thanks

Lift the hood and torque the engine over (step on the gas) while keeping the brakes on.

Look at the engine or have someone watch the engine while doing this.

If the engine comes up enough to hit the shroud the mounts probably bad.

Its gotta be the drivers side mount. If not, how else could it move. Look again, try putting it in drive, hold the brake real hard and goose the pedal. If the engine lifts up, its bad.

they are both right. Drivers side mount is the first to go. You can not always tell just by looking at a mount. Go ahead and pull the mount and check it for slop. You will know if it's bad when you have it in your hands.
good luck
