More TQ to be found in the Stealth Ram?
The other day I was rereading up on the differences between dual plane and single plane manifolds. They were explaining(from what I got anyway) that the dual planes have seperate air flow areas for the 4 cylinders on each side of the engine, where as the single plane draws all 8 cylinders off of one common air space. Now for all of you that are familiar with the Stealth Ram, knows that the plenum is one big open space underneath for all 8 cylinders to draw off of. So I got to thinking, what would be the affect of taking say 3(3 to be able to get them in) aluminum plates and having them spot heliarced in a couple places directly in the middle from front to back, so to keep the air to each bank seperated and less turbulant. Any thoughts?

Torque is a function of runner length. Putting the divider in won't change the runner length. But, it will affect the effective plenum volume for each port to draw from, and would thus limit high end power.
So, the divider would not increase torque, but would reduce high end power.
But, go ahead and try it...
