My latest investment was a Dual Gate Shifter from Hurst. Exept...having a hard x with the neutral safety switch. Once the stock cable is connected and its in-the thing will not shift into neutral. Forcing it does not help-its being uncooperative and I've played with it for hours and its not helping. Anybody have one of these? Whats the story?

 

Are you sure you got the tab on the switch into the right hole in the shifter?
