major work on my car, have sum questions

hey guys my car is in the shop getting my th350 rebuilt and beefed up along with a shift kit, tranny kooler and a higher performance stall converter. i am getting one of those stock thidgen tranny cooler put in (the small one that mounts to rad)
is this cooler any good?? is it gunna help??? or is it not worth installing and i should wate till i get a better aftermarket one??

one more thing: i have a holley contender intake and a holley 750 carb. the bracket i have on now is not a good choice at all, would the bracket off a 305 lg4 work with my intake/carb or is there a adjustable bracket out there that works perfect with aftermarket holley intake and carb or a car i could get one out of at the junkers that will work???? (only cable i got going to carb are kickdown and gas)

The stock tranny cooler goes inside the radiator tank. They must be putting something else on. Typically, it's best to run the external cooler in series with the factory cooler.

Most parts or speed stores will have the kick-down bracket. Check the Summit website under carb assessories, they have one for less than $10 (plus their $7/order processing charge, of course).

ya it is an external cooler (looks like a mini rad) its 22" by 19" quite small, thats y i am wondering if it will do the job right? will it???

by any chance do u no if the bracket off a lg4 will work on my holley?? or the bracket from a LC1 v6 carb engine?? trying to avoid ordering one (need it by 2 days) and spending more money since all this work is running me 800$ canadian, not to mention i just finished spending over 1k on roh rims and tires.
thank for help me out. again lol

22x19 is actually a very good sized tranny cooler....most "stockish" ones are only maybe 12 by 10

Thats good advice alright. Applies mostly to higher-stalled converters not running a lockup however. Not sure if yours is a lockup converter or not...I imagine so. So how's the new tranny work? Rips out of the hole like a beast I bet. Say hello to no traction.
