Ignition wire trimming questions!

I just bought a set of red taylor vertex pro series universal fit ignition wires knowing that I had to trim them to my liking. Now my question is when I'm crimping the metal do I just go until it's gone through the very thin inner most insulation or do I cut it all the way down to the silicone wire?
ohh and here is the distributor I'm using.
thanks for any help you guys can spare!

grimping doesn't cut or penetrate any insualtion, at least with any terminals i've used.
