Ok heres the deal...I'll be driving the car at a slow speed in first then I'll let out of the clutch and the car will go to idle and then down to about 500RPMs. Sometimes it almost feels as if it is going to stall on me..TODAY IT DID. Sometimes is worth than others and its weird. It only happens at slow speeds like when I am moving the car around in the garage. Any ideas? I just put in a new ignition coil, plug wires, and will be putting in a new fuel filter.

I would start with setting your minimum air (TPS and IAC adjustments. adjustment should be in faq). You could have a faulty IAC, TPS, MAF or the computer. My brother had this problem with his 87 Iroc and I'm not sure he ever pinpointed it but the new IAC helped and removing his ADS chip helped but I think it would still do it occasionally. He sold the vehicle before he ever got it fixed.

If you're still running the TPI, probably a good time to pull the TB, take it apart and clean it up too. Blades, TB bores and IAC passages get gunked up over time.

 

Did it give u any codes?? This is most likely the MAF, but it can be the others mentioned also.

Sorry in my original message it should say "When I push the clutch in to let the car idle the rpms drop to idle then to 500RPM and then today it stalled on me" No codes came up when that happened. Its weird it feels like a fuel problem but I can always be wrong. Any ideas?
