removed ac and lost power
i just removed the ac compressor and all the lines from my 86 Z28 w/ LB9 engine (TPI)...noticed a loss in power after i did this...no error codes...i had to jumper out one of the connectors to allow the fan to kick on and off (it stayed on all the time without the jumper)...are ther any relays that might be messing with my idle and possible make it stall out at stops?...i mean i know on some cars the idle and other things are adjusted when the ac kicks on and off...HELP...i am changing out the fuel filter tommorow...just thought it might be a coincidence that the filter clogged up at the same time i took out the ac...it has new plugs/wires/dist cap and rotor...didnt change the coil though...any asssitant would be greatly appriciated...thanks in andvance for any help or ideas...mike

Your car is getting too hot now.
Sorry. I had to.
Are all the vacuum lines plugged that go to your heater controls on the dash? Maybe you knocked one loose/off?
I dunno. You had to have unknowingly disconnected something.
