Switching heads in a L98 with motor still in car

What is involved with switching the heads with the motor still in the car. The car is a loaded L98 88 GTA. I guess the entire intake and distributor need to come off, how much of a pain is it to reinstall the distributor because I've heard it is a pain in the *** , does anyone have any instuctions or tips. Any problems seeing that the L98 is a computer controlled car?

you're right the heads, intake, distributor all have to come off, plus any brackets that fasten to the front of the heads. just mark the rotor location and don't spin the engine and you should get the distributor back in ok. buy a manual before you start.
