The side that goes into the tranny? I think I did that to mine. It is kinda hard to put it in after the first couple inches, when reinstalling the driveshaft. Also, when going down the highway I hear and feel a humming vibration that starts about 65mph. All this was after a reinstall of new gears cause a tooth on the pinion broke while racing from a slow roll.

 

I guess its possible, But I would think the Ujoints would Go First.

What sorta power are you making ? tires ?

Doing 6000 RPM 500 Hp Clutch Dumps Onto Slicks ?


I wouldnt think that this would be the first thing to break on an otherwise stock setup, But then again, stranger things have happend...
