I have a quick question for some experts...

I need a ballpark answer.

I'm runnin Pro Lightning heads. The valves are .100 longer.
With my stock heads and 1.5 rockers with stock valve length, I was using stock length pushrods which were 7.50"(hydraulic flat tappet cam.)
Now with the .100 longer valves, I'm gonna run 1.6 rockers, what length pushrods do i need.

I know the proper way is to find out using a pushrod length checker, but does anybody have the same or close to setup as me, can do the math for me, or give me a ballpark answer, I'm kinda in a jam.

Thanks ahead
Dave.

you need to dummy it up and check it with a length checker or an adjustable push rod.

The only right way is to check it. There are too many variables beyond what you have mentioned to get an accurate length from someone else. Material machined off the block or head will effect the length as well as any valve seat modifications & head gasket thickness.
