L98 mods

i was just wondering, i've been thinking of looking for a L98 camaro. if i started with a stock L98 and put on a holley stealth ram intake, full exhaust(headers to muffler), and a bigger cam with about 5-10* more duration, and a good tune(computer included) how fast do you think it would run?

I'd say

Reaallyy fast!

Sorry, that's my best opinion. But I will be following along because I am considering the same.
To drop a bug in your ear. I was reading an article in I belive Chevy Performance(cover has a red ElCamino) where an LT-1 intake was compared to the HSR. The difference to me did not justify the higher price for the HSR... but I am still reviewing all options.

on a 91 camaro in super chevy they went from 220hp and 301 lbft to 273hp and 365lbft with the intake alone. (i'm assuming this is on a stock car, i didn't read the whole thing) then with the exaust i would imagine that would put it over 300hp and at least close to 400lbft. then with a bigger cam it would maybe get 20-30more HP.

i'm sure that would be enough to beat an LT1 camaro, i hope it would.

i think what you saw was in super chevy also, they had a big thing on EFI's....i got it right here and its got a red el camino on the cover.
