It back again the dreaded 32


Code 32 that is.Ive checked everything using my factory manuals,and all things appear to be functionng correctly. I will clear the code,an two or three days later its back,in town or on the highway it doesnt matter,its a 92 tuned port.Any ideas? Mike

i was thinking there was a tech artical on this, but i couldn't find it. i ddin't look real good so you may want to double check for it.

Welcome aboard!

Have you cleaned or tested the EGR diagnostic temperature sensor? If the exhaust carbon deposits build up on the base of the EGR valve excessively, they will form an insulating layer. This will prevent the sensor from heating adequately and the ECM will assume the EGR is not opening adequately. The '32' fault is pretty general, and covers almost everything in the EGR system, including the temperature sensor and electrical load of the EGR vacuum solenoid.
