kickdown cable???

Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 4th gen 10-bolt, posi, 3.42 ratio
kickdown cable???
I was hooking up stuff on my car over the past week. I don't know how to hook up the kickdown cable. do i just put a screw and a nut through it, or is there another way? I think I have a universal cable

you should have a little hole to screw a stud into on the throttle lever on your carb, thats where the stud goes that the kickdown cable goes over and rides on. Should be able to get a stud from a local speed shop or auto parts store.
