Call me stupid but i just bought a mini greese gun and i tried greesing the joints but when i put it over the nipples it does not go in all the way and the greese is not going in but it is coming out at the connection point..

Do i have to buy bigger size attachment or is there a trick to this?

PS. I am using the flexible hose.

 

might just need to work the coupling on the fitting a little more, might be the ball in the fitting is stuck in place too.
