I've changed my mind enough. The LT1 I've got it going to be a 383. I've made up my mind (for the time being, lol). Does anyone know where this will put me on the grid?

Does anyone have any idea on HP/TQ #'s? Fuel mileage, suggestions on anything? I'm looking for some advise to make or break my idea...

 

You should never insult a 550 hp motor with 2.73 gears. Be prepared to have a light wallet. To build that motor and put it in a 3rd gen will equal mucho casho. How is this street racing?

If you can't afford to spend the cash to run the right rearend, then I doubt you are doing anything more than dreaming about the rest of the combo. Thus, it behooves me to not waste any more time in this thread.
