Help me get this timing cover off!

Axle/Gears: 3.512
Help me get this timing cover off!
ENGINE IS AN LT-1 BLOCK!!! 
I took out all the timing cover bolts, but there is a large pulley bracket attached to the crankshaft snout (where the balancer usually presses on to) it obviouselly holds the crank pulley and has 3 bolt holes in it, but i can seem to remove it even with a puller and lots of force X length.
What is the DEAL? Does the thing press off or what?

I think me and my buddy needed to use a 3 jaw puller and a bolt in the crankshaft. A normal HB puller wouldn't work because it was pressing and pulling on the same thing.
