What's the proper way to torque the nuts w/ allen set screws on roller rockers?

I've heard that the directions are wrong and have always been wrong on how to torque the rocker nuts that have allen set screw inside of them. I have CompCams 1.5 Roller Rockers. How do I install them correctly. I did it the way the directions said, and they friggin' loosened up and popped off while driving!

set the lash whereever you want it tighten the set screw then tighten the nut and set screw a little more, like 1/8-1/4 turn
