Aren't both of thse high pressure pumps? (like 60+psi)

But if not and both are correct pressure for the TBI setup, then use the bigger one.

reason i ask is because i read that the return might not be able to handle the 255 , but i dont know for sure thats why i ask, as for pressures i dont know either ................

The 190 can handle like 600 hp, you could even go lower to a 155 which handles almost 500 hp, the 255 is absolute overkill with 800 hp capability.

That would be true if they were rated at operating pressures but they aren't. They are rated at 0 psi which is no back pressure. Once you install them in a EFI car and set the AFPR to 48 psi or so the rated flow drops. I am running the 255 since it's only $10 more then the 190. My 5/16" return works just fine.

It doesn't? Well don't think since you buy a 255lph pump you will get 255lph at 48psi because it won't. It you build a 800 hp engine that needs 255lph at 48psi then the Walbrow isn't for you.

It's gonna pump 255gph regardless. Please explain how fuel pressure will have any effect on how many gallons the fuel pump can pump. 800 hp requires roughly the same amount of fuel no matter what psi you are operating at.

From APE's site:

Clearly volume goes down as pressure increases.

Thats why you see some of the LS1 TT's with duel 255 intank pumps. Not cause they are pushing 1600 HP

I think you need a TBI pump personaly. I dont think the walbros are what you need. Liek the post above its way too much pressure. Thats why I "think"

Either way, his tbi will, at most, push 15 psi. The 255 is gonna be extreme overkill.

I agree with 25th. On a 305 with a TBI to boot, a 255 will be overkill.
