Can anyone help me out with this?

Well, after replacing my dist. cap and rotor, I pretty much fixed my cutting out problem when getting on it. Long story short, the cap screw holes in the base of dist were stripped out and the cap was lifting off the base, and the rotor actually chewed up the top of the cap inside, plastic dust everywhere, and rotor had knicked up the cap inside all over. Anyhow, fixed that. I took it for a drive around Toledo today and on the highway at steady rpms about 1800-2000, it stays pretty much constant except for random 'flickering' of the tach. It would drop out by about 50-100rpm every so often, just barely noticeable. Anyone have any suggestions as to what may cause this? I wonder if the MAP sensor has a 'bad spot' at that vacuum level at cruise like that? Or could it be a 'going bad' coil, or even Ignition Module?

Thanks for any suggestions.
