elusive valve tick
Anyone got any trade secrets on hunting down valve ticks? the lifters/springs/rockers/pushrods/cam are all new, hydraulic roller. I have stud-girdle poly locks, but haven't installed the stud girdle yet. I have a valve tick, one on each side, but I can't tell which ones it's coming from. I've set the valve lash twice so far, and still haven't been able to get rid of it. I tried putting my finger on the rockers while it was running, but I couldn't feel anything. (roller tipped rockers). Just looking for suggestions on ideas to try. Thanks.

Use a stethascope (Pry bar, Rubber hose, screw driver, anything you can put to each rocker and the other end to your ear to tell where the noise is coming from).
