What this thing for?
I blew an intake gasket on my '85 L69 and when taking the intake off this broke off in the top of the block. Not sure what its for. I'm going to try to use an easy out to get it out.

That's your oil sending unit to your oil pressure guage.

if you don't get that out, you could piggyback that gauge off the other one, but you have to do something or oil will shoot straight up out of that hole!
