88 Z28 is it worth $3500?

Hey guys I think I finally found a car that i might buy. It is a 88 Z28 (white) with a 350 TPI, automatic. it has 98,000 miles on it and runs good. the interior is clean and it also has t-tops. The body has a little surface rust on the rear quarters (not rusted through. it does not have a spoiler because the current owner took the old one off and filled the holes to put a 92 spoiler on, but never did? The owners seems like he took good care of the car, but am i going to have alot of problems with a 350 TPI with 98,000 miles on it? Is there anything i should pay close attention to on the car? I know it is personal opinion, but do you guys think this car is worth $3,500?
Thanks
Tom

Just check everything over well, and make sure there isn't blue smoke coming out of the exaust when it is first started. The price is very good though.

Sounds a little fishy to me. Also, correct me if i'm wrong, but I dont even think there was a Z-28 in '88. Maybe it's a lesser car ane he just slapped the badges on?
Are you sure that it's not an Iroc? Or not a 6? Or not a TBI 305? You have to be careful - I know this one idiot that bought 3 camaros with 305's and either a carb or TBI because each guy that he bought them from knew he was a sucker and they all told him it was an LT-1.

Oh yeah, ironically, I got my white T-top '88 Iroc with exactly 98,000 miles on it. The valve seals were (and still are) leaking, and when I got it a whole bunch of other stuff went wrong. But if you can live with that, you'll love the car. There's nothing like em! (well, except for the second gens)
