fuel pump?
fuel pump?
what is a decent fuel pump to run for a carbed 305 --lots o' mods--
external electric preferably.....to hell with an in tank pump....
holley blue? or........ --insert opinions here--
however my tank is out of my car now due to a small HOLE in the tank that appeared out of the blue....still trying to fix that....
which brings me to another question....what gas tanks will work in our cars? lt1?? ls1?? i have a 91 rs.....if that helps at all....im sure all the third gens used the same tank....
anyways......when i run the external electric.....do i just replace the length that the in tank pump would consume with some rubber line and attatch a strainer on the end of the rubber line?

Yes, you'll need to make a pickup tube and strainer that reaches the bottom of the tank. Instead of rubber, I'd suggest steel tubing and compression fittings for rigidity.
Reportedly, all ThirdGens used the same style tank, but don't quote me on that one. I know a 1le baffled tank will fit many if not all years.
