Edelbrock Exhaust Systems?

alrighty guys, i have been thinking lately thatmy next performance mod will be a full exhaust workup. I already have a Edelbrock Cat back and i've been looking at the Edelbrock Header systems. They have the headers, 1-5/8(all i need right?), and a 3" collector.

Is this a good setup? I'm looking for something to make the car faster and sound tuffer, the cat will be stripped, or a stait pipe will replace it. I want a mean tone but still keep my cat back. I like the thought of having an all edelbrock exhaust system. Plus its reasonably cheap.

$325.95!!!!! Thats freggin awesome. If i can find is somewhere else cheaper, then i'll get it there but thats already an awesome price. I'll just paint them, or powder coat them up really pretty and all will be good, right?

I'm not thinking out my *** right now, i'm not doing engine swaps any time soon so i'm gonna try to get whatever i can out of my 305 while i can. My new Hawks seat covers are coming very soon, then this is up next.

For those of you wondering that spoiler endned up not being able to fit my hatch so.....

Spend a few extra nad buy then ceramic coated. I've had mine for about 5 or 6 years and the headers are still perfect. Can't say the same about the y-pipe though. That of course may be because of my perpetual lean condition I had.

Now are you going to do this before or after you drop in the engine you've been lusting. If after, I'd like to know how you afford all this on a $5/hr or so job??

before, the engien swap, and i make $5.65, and next week sincei got an ecellent eval i make $6.50, more than any toher part time person there. I'm that good. But any how, I get $120 a week and that all for my car and gas an insurance. I dont have a gf so no need to spend money on her. I got me and my car.

This stuff isn't expensive, why does everyone think it is? $326 is expensive, And that new engine expensive, i see those as cheap improvements. Wont take me very long for that stuff. But that new engine is most likely gonna be a nice stroked LT1, that what my craving craves and thats what its gonna get, i gotta get that lt1 to match the torque of the tpi, best way i know how is to stroke. But i dunno.
