Where the heck do i get one or is there another way. I'm half way through taking apart my steering wheel to tighten the loose tilt.

I have done it without one, but it is a real PITA! You have to push in on it by hand enough to get the clip started out of the groove. This was before I knew that there was a toll made for it! DOH! I would probably never try it again without the tool.

I think there are Pep Boys in Chitown, since they're all over the 'burbs. They sell Lisle tools, and one of their offerings is a lock plate depressor for about twenty bucks. If you think you'll ever do this more than once, it's worth the cash.
