Alright guys, here's a dousy of a question!
I have an 82 camaro with an 87 5.7 350, that runs with a 650 cfm edelbrock carb.
NOW!
I caused a bad ground the other day when i was doing some rountine maintenance. I completely blew my alternator and got that replaced easily. But I also blew a fusible link.
Now I got all of those fixed.
But here is my question.
When I first fixed the fusible link it was fine, then it crapped out again.
Fixed it again and then i had the wierdest thing, when i signaled the tach would increase and decrease synchronized with the signal light. As well when I would rev up and then take my foot off the gas, once the tach got below 1500 rpm the radio would cut out.
I THINK not sure though, it was just a bad connection with the new fusible link...this was down running off one of the wires from the solenoid.
Everything seems to be great now, but would a bad connection in that circuit cause that type of problem through the ignition? it only seemed to be things through the ignition that were being messed with.

Yes.
Those fusible links are in the feeds to the interior of the car; they feed power to the fusebox for battery things, the headlight switch, the ignition switch, etc. etc. So a bad connection in the one that feeds the ignition switch will definitely cause weird low-voltage-related things to happen to anything that gets its power from teh ignition switch.
