XE256 cam fit an 86 LB9 305?
All the website list the XE256 cam for 87-98 305/350. Would this cam work in my 86 LB9 305???

It would work; but the one designed specifically for TPI motors would work better. Why they called that series "hydraulic flat tappet for 87-98" is a mystery to me. That's not right.
Look down at the 12-256-4. It will work fine in your motor, better than the 12-234-2.

Cool, thanks. I will probably go with the 12-256-4 then, right after I get some headers, new cat, and cat back exhaust.
